COLORO BREAK & CURE
BREAK ‘N CURE is the next generation cure and tilt-up bondbreaker. BREAK ‘N CURE does not contain any paraffin wax or hydrocarbon resins and does not depend on a physical barrier deposited on top of the casting slab to prevent bonding.
BREAK ‘N CURE consists of a special formulation of chemically reactive organic compounds in water and special solvent-based system which react with free lime, the byproduct of the cement hydration reaction in all fresh concrete surfaces.
The reaction products are gels which, in combination with other selected compounds, seal concrete surface, ensuring the moisture entry or egress is restricted, ensuring good water retention in the concrete, during the curing process, whilst minimising concrete surface cracking and crazing.
Properly applied, BREAK ‘N CURE prevents the bonding of tilt wall panels to casting slab floor surfaces.
Used only for Tilt-Slab fabrication, apply on freshly laid concrete.
Provides improved resistance to the “osmotic effect” by restricting the natural tendency for water to migrate from freshly placed panel concrete through the bondbreaker film and into the less moist casting slab. Reducing the “osmotic effect” greatly improves panel concrete surface appearance resulting in a smooth, uniform surface profile, colour and appearance. Achieves exceptional wall panel surface appearance.
Leaves no residue or resulting staining on wall panel or casting slab floor surfaces when properly applied.
Achieves a crisp, positive release that minimizes panel surface defects and reduces panel resurfacing/patching costs.
BREAK ‘N CURE is not classed as a flammable dangerous good, reducing transport and storage costs.
